Héctor Arcila grows this microlot on Finca El Refugio, a five-hectare farm in Timaná, Huila. The variety is Bourbon Ají, washed. At this altitude the cherries ripen slowly; the selection is tight, which is why the cup reads cleaner than the variety often does.

Lime and grapefruit come first — bright, not sharp. Then red berry and a light floral lift. Underneath is Bourbon Ají’s own spiced sweetness, more refined here than loud: present, measured, and finished clean.
